To shop or not to shop…
Normally it’s not a question. It’s Spring, time to go through my clothes and donate what I am not going to wear again, determine what I still love, what is in good shape and what isn’t. It’s also normally a time to shop. Being home for two months now and living in pajama pants has been great, but I haven’t had a chance to wear any new clothes as of yet, and it begs the question…how many new clothes do I really need?
I have been trying to support local restaurants by ordering takeout, supporting local businesses by purchasing other items that I need as well as some necessary purchasing from larger stores too. I don’t want to stop shopping, however; I think I am being more selective as to what I buy, and how much I spend.
Let’s face it…I’m thinking that I will be dressing more casually this summer. Yes, I will still go out to eat where I will want to dress up, but public events will be at a minimum, no weddings or showers or big graduation parties to attend. I’m guessing what I need the most is more casual, comfortable, stylish clothes. I’m curious if you agree.
